College Depot at Burton Barr Central Library provides free year-round programming targeting various topics of the college planning process.
During the academic school year:
Workshops on various topics including college exploration, financial aid, scholarship searching, and more are presented free of charge and open to the public. Registration is required for some programs as seating might be limited.
Walk-In Assistance offers the opportunity to receive hands-on help with various elements of the college admissions and financial aid process with no appointment necessary! Drop-in and get help with FAFSA updates, scholarship searches, "To Do" student portal tasks, and more. Walk-in assistance is provided on designated days/times and on a first-come, first served basis.
FAFSA Assistance is provided to students and their families through specialized programming to assist with the FAFSA application and creating FSA IDs through hands-on small groups and workshop sessions during the peak financial aid season. Registration is required for some programs as seating might be limited.
In June and July:
Summer Camps are customized programs for students entering 8-12th grades for that coming school year. Students meet and spend time with your peers, learn valuable information, play games, hear from guest speakers, get ready for college, and have fun!
