Get online access to thousands of books, book summaries, leadership videos and more. There is nothing to check out, download or return because Books24x7’s titles are read from your Internet browser.  There are never any late fees.

Getting Started

To start using Books24x7 today, you'll need your Phoenix Public Library card and a computer or device with an Internet connection. Don't have a library card? Get one​.

  1. Go to Books24x7​.
  2. From the home page, search for information, browse titles, and view the book right on your computer or device.

Finding Information

  1. Browse Topics: This area categorizes titles for easy access by subject. Drop down arrows in the menu help to drill down further into a specific topic.
  2. Search Box: Enter your search term to produce a list of titles. Keywords can contain Boolean operators such as “and” and “or,” or place quotes around a term to search for an exact phrase.
  3. Click on the book jacket or title to see the table of contents and other information about the book, and to access the contents of the book.

Tools and Navigation on Content Pages

  1. Use Previous and Next buttons to navigate through the book.
  2. Share gives you the ability to share specific pages with others who have access to Books24x7.
  3. Citation provides the MLA, ALA, and Chicago Style reference formats that can be copied and pasted into a document.​
